Choose between stunning plants such as the Forest Pansy with its heart-shaped reddish-purple leaves, or the Cornus 'Eddies White Wonder' with it's most unusual large white flower bracts.
We grow hundreds of Japanese Acers on our nursery, from patio plants to multistem specimens. Japanese Acers offer an amazing choice of leaf colour, texture and form and cannot fail to impress.
We also grow a large range of magnolias, you can choose between the smaller growing Magnolia stellata with its fragrant starlike white flowers, or the taller (small tree) magnolias such as Magnolia soulangeana with its white to pink cup shaped flowers. We also offer magnolias with yellow, crimson and purple flowers.
Another specialist plant range that we grow is the Phormiums with their clumping habit and sword-like leaves. We grow an extensive range of Phormiums including the new 'Alison Blackman' with its strikingly distinctive colour and variegation. The Phormium (New Zealand Flax) are native to New Zealand and are frost hardy.
If you have a pond or bog area, be it a large pond or a small self-contained pool, you will need specialist plants to stock it.
We grow a range of suitable plants, including bog plants, ideal for the damp area around the edge of the pond, and marginal plants which will grow in the shallow water at the edge of the pond.
For the pond proper, try flamboyant water lilies with their large and beautiful flowers, or Pygmy water lilies suitable for smaller water features.
Specialist oxygenating plants may be needed, they help to keep the pond fresh and clear whilst also benefiting any fish that you may have.
